  • Trust Protectors - The Underground Planning Technique.  Greg Wilcox introduces an aspect of trust planning and administration unmentioned in the Probate Code but often useful where beneficiaries of a continuing trust are unable to protect their own interests.
  • Dealing With Dementia -   In this presentation, Dr. Freitag will explain the clinical diagnosis of dementia, provide practical information on working with clients with impaired cognition, discuss the process and procedures of a medical-legal evaluation of capacity and provide guidance on when it is appropriate to make a referral to a clinical professional to assess a client's capacity.
  • Estate Planning for the Blended Family - Harry Maring will discuss how estate planning techniques old and new are affected by family structures not fitting the standard "married with children and no priors" model.
