Training: Elder Law, Family Law, & Immigration Law
As part of our Moderate Means Program, Elder Law, Family Law, and Immigration Law services offer reduced fee representation to our community.
It is designed to fill the gap between those who qualify for pro-bono legal services, and those who can afford an attorney’s regular fee. Although the initial consultation is free, participating attorneys may require a retainer and charge a moderate hourly fee within program guidelines.
If you need additional experience to join our "Elder Law", “Family Law”, or “Immigration Law” panels in our Moderate Means program, we offer comprehensive training for both.
All classes are taught by highly respected Bay Area Attorneys and judges who specialize in this field. You’ll receive 16 hours of MCLE credit, including one hour of Legal Ethics credit.
Once you complete either training, you will then be qualified to sit on a panel.
Return to “Steps & Applications” in this section, download your panel application in step #3, and follow the steps to join.
