Elder Law Section
The purposes of the Elder Law Section are to present programs that help keep attorneys informed about elder law, create a forum for attorneys who are dealing with elder law issues, and provide members with information personally helpful for retirement. Elder law issues will become increasingly important as our population ages.
In 2011, CCCBA and The Elder Law Center (ELC) presented a comprehensive elder law training series to recruit panelists for the ELC and the CCCBA's new Elder Financial Abuse Moderate Means Panel. This training is now available for MCLE credit. The series consists of 7 sessions, each providing 2 hours of MCLE credit. Each class is taught by highly respected Bay Area attorneys and judges specializing in this field. For more information about the Elder Law Training series, please click here.
If you have suggestions for programs, please contact the president.
