Fee Mediation/Arbitration Program - Having a fee dispute with your attorney? Arbitration under Business & Professions Code sections 6200-6206 is voluntary for a client, unless the parties agreed in writing to submit their fee dispute to arbitration, and mandatory for an attorney if commenced by a client.

Lawyer Referral & Information Service - Need a lawyer? Our Lawyer Referral  and Information Service is certified by both the State Bar of California (Certification Number 18) and by the American Bar Association.  
 
Moderate Means Program - Do you have a legal issue in the field of family law? If you qualify according to the program income guidelines the Moderate Means Program will refer you to an attorney who charges a reduced retainer fee and reduced hourly rates.  This is NOT a low-income or pro bono service. Small Claims Court Advisor and Workshop Information - The  Superior Court of California County of Contra Costa provides a  Small Claims Court Advisor service.  Each month the advisor offers a  free 2-1/2 hour "How to Use the Small Claims Court"  seminar at various dates, times,  and locations throughout the county.
