Law firms, solo practitioners and county legal offices compete to raise the most per capita and every dollar counts. Since its inception, county attorneys have donated more than $1.3 million and over 54 tons of food, making CCCBA one of the Food Bank’s largest supporters!
Each year, the drive is launched by a comedy night fondly referred to as Res Ipsa Jokuitur. Well-known comedians such as Will Durst regularly perform to sold-out crowds. Needless to say, this event is one of the highlights of the year.
Food from the Bar 2024
With every $1 raised, the Food Bank can provide TWO healthy meals, so each donation makes a big impact. Food From the Bar has raised enough money to provide more than 3 million meals to feed our community.
This year’s drive was launched at CCCBA’s Comedy Night, which was held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Back 40 Texas BBQ in Pleasant Hill. Members bid generously on silent auction and raffle items. Whether you could make it or not, please remember that you can support the Food Bank anytime, by making a donation.
