LINK TO 24/7  SELF-REFERRAL

  • Select the area of law you need help with. A checkmark will appear in the upper right-hand corner of the box.  Click the “Next” button at the bottom of the page.
  • Click the box that best describes your legal issue, then click “Next”.
  • If a match is found, fill-in your contact information and briefly describe your legal issue.  Include WHO, WHAT, WHEN, and WHERE. Click “Next”.
  • Enter your credit card information and click “View Attorney” button. The contact information for the attorney will appear on your screen and also be emailed to you. There is no fee for personal injury cases, so this step will be skipped.

CAUTION!

ONCE YOU HAVE ENTERED YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION, DO NOT REFRESH THE PAGE.

DO NOT CLICK THE “VIEW ATTORNEY” BUTTON MORE THAN ONCE.

THIS MAY CAUSE YOUR CREDIT CARD TO BE CHARGED TWICE!

If you should refresh the payment page after you have entered your credit card information, or if you click the “View Attorney” button more than once and your credit card is charged twice, please call our office at (925) 825-5700 (press 1  to bypass the message), so we can void or refund the second charge and help with any assignment issues.  Thank you.

HOW IT WORKS

You may schedule your own appointment with an attorney through our LRIS 24/7 Self-Referral Program.  Once you complete the online process, you will receive onscreen and by email the name and contact information of a local attorney.  You then may contact the attorney’s office within the next 5 days to schedule your 30-minute consultation.  An email with your contact information will also be sent to the attorney, so they will be expecting your call.

When you call their office, let them know you were referred by our service and provide the referral ID number that is included in your confirming email. If you leave a voice mail, be sure to include your name and phone number. The attorney or their office assistant should contact you within 5 days to schedule your 30-minute consultation.

FEES AND FEE ARRANGEMENTS

Before you receive your self-referral, you will be charged a $45.00 administrative fee which covers a referral to one attorney for a 30-minute initial consultation. The fee is waived for Plaintiff’s personal injury, employee Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability issues.

This $45.00 fee is non-refundable once the appointment has been scheduled.

All the LRIS member attorneys are licensed to practice law in California and are currently in good standing with the State Bar of California.  For added consumer protection, we verify that each attorney carries malpractice insurance.  In addition, for your benefit, all LRIS attorneys must meet specific experience requirements to qualify for the subject matter panels on which they serve.

Also note, the attorneys are in private practice and charge their regular fees. We do not have information about and cannot base referrals on attorney fees or fee arrangements. You will discuss fees and fee arrangements directly with the attorney.
